On the same card, heavyweight veteran Donovan "Razor" Ruddock (38-5-1), who lost twice against Mike Tyson and against Lennox Lewis and Tommy Morrison, will make his return to the ring. He will face Raymond Obulawale (10-6-1). The most recent ring appearance by Ruddock in 2001. He is now 51 years old.

Heavyweight Steve Franjic (12-1-1), also from Ontario, will face Argentine Ricardo Marcelo Ramallo (16-6-1).
