Liam Williams and Chris Eubank Jr continued their war of words as they held their final press conference on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s highly-anticipated showdown.

The two men collide at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on Saturday, on an event that will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Williams (23-3-1, 18 KOs) and Eubank Jr (31-2, 23 KOs) both had plenty to say as they spoke in front of the media, and they were each confident of earning the win.

Both are capable of ending the fight inside the distance, but Williams believes that he'll close the show with Eubank on his back.

Williams said: “This is an unbelievable opportunity to fight in Cardiff in a high level fight. I’m so excited to put an end to this guy and drop him down a few levels. He’ll realize his level after this fight.

“I’ve got a better skillset, and I punch harder than him. He’s tough and takes a good shot, but his legs and very robotic. Once the going gets tough he’ll revert to type, and we’ll find out on Saturday who the better man is.

“I’m super up for this fight. Chris doubts his ability as he’s put a rematch clause in. If I was going to fight somebody I thought I would blow out the water, I wouldn’t have a rematch clause. Depending how badly I beat him, he might want to take it, or he might not.

“I have the power to stop him. It will be an intense fight and a good one for the fans. I’ve prepared for a hard 12-round fight, but I do hope to knock him out.”
