Undefeated super middleweights Lester Martinez and Joeshon James are set to clash in a bout with potential title implications, headlining Wednesday Night Fights at the ProBox TV Events Center. The event will be available on the ProBox TV app and streamed live on ProBox TV’s YouTube channel.

Martinez (18-0, 15 KOs) weighed in at 167 pounds, just under the 168-pound limit, while James (9-0-2, 5 KOs) tipped the scales at 167.6 pounds. The 10-round main event features Martinez, 28, of Guatemala, trained by Brian “BoMac” McIntyre, known for coaching Terence Crawford. Martinez secured a significant victory in June, defeating veteran contender Carlos Gongora via unanimous decision on a ProBox TV card in Washington D.C., breaking his five-fight knockout streak.

James, 26, from Sacramento, California, has faced tough competition in his last five bouts, with his opponents holding a combined record of 55-8-1. His highlights include a first-round knockout of previously unbeaten David Stevens and a hard-fought unanimous decision victory over Vaughn Alexander last February on ProBox TV.

In the co-feature, 35-year-old junior middleweight Vladimir Hernandez (15-6, 7 KOs) from Stockton, California, aims to build on his knockout of the year contender in his ProBox TV debut against Guido Schramm. Hernandez faces Dominican fighter Raul Garcia (13-1-1, 11 KOs), 25, who seeks redemption after a close split-decision loss to Leonardo Ruiz in August 2023 on ProBox TV.
