Emirates Arena, Glasgow, Scotland - In a bout for the Commonwealth bantamweight title, Lee McGregor (7-0, 6 KOs) broke down and stopped Scott Allan (9-4-1) in the eight round.

The fight began at a rapid pace, with McGregor taking the fight to Allan, and they were landing solid punches. McGregor came off with the harder and more damaging shots.

After two close rounds, McGregor began to take over in the fourth and opened up a bad cut around the right eye of Allan.

Allan came swinging back in the fifth, and connecting with good punches from off angles. But around the final minute of the same round Allan was stunned bad from a body shot and then he was worked over with head shots. Blood began to come down from Allan's nose.

During the eight, McGregor once again had Allan in trouble with shots to the head and body, finally putting Allan down. Allan beat the count, but he was being worked over as the referee jumped in to wave off the fight.

Kieran Smith (15-0, 7 KOs) retained the World Boxing Council International silver super welterweight title with a ten round technical decision over Ivan Montero (21-4).

The scores were 99-91, 99-90 and 99-90.

Smith dominated the majority of the fight, with accurate punches and a much better workrate. In the tenth and final round, there was a clash of heads that opened up a cut on the nose of Montero. The fight was stopped with around a minute to go and sent to the scorecards.

In what became a much tougher fight than expected, junior welterweight Lewis Benson (12-2, 2 KOs) was lucky to overcome a very tough bout with Renald Garrido (24-24-3).

Benson went through a grueling fight where he struggled with his distance, to secure an eight round decision win.

The referee handed down a sole score of 77-75.

Welterweight Craig MacIntyre (11-0-1, 4 KOs) stopped Chris Adaway (9-57-4) in the third round.
