Polish featherweight Kamil Laszczyk reminded scribes why he was considered a bona-fide prospect several year ago. Still 28, Laszczyk (26-0, 9 KOs) destroyed Ukrainian no-hoper Pavlo Tryputen (2-5-1) in just three rounds on Friday night at DKB in Dzierzoniow.

That was the main fight of a small card promoted by the Wach Boxing Team.

Laszczyk dropped Tryputen twice in the first two rounds and then got the job done with a vicious liver hook at the end of the third. Nicknamed Szczurek, the Polish fighter was on a high road early into his pro career, which included a unanimous decision over reigning IBF super featherweight champion Tevin Farmer, but then got stuck for various reasons and fought just twice since October 2016.

In a co-main event, WBC female light middleweight champion Ewa Piatkowska (13-1, 4 KOs) easily overwhelmed Hungarian import Kamilla Boka (3-3, 3 KOs) over six in a non-title affair. The sole score was 60-52 – for Piatkowska.

Other results:

Jakub Martys (2-0, 1 KO) TKO 3 Victor Kornienko (2-10, 1 KO)

Vladislav Bilous (1-0) UD 4 Dawid Przybylski (0-1)
