The proposed heavyweight fight between Robert "the Nordic Nightmare" Helenius and Kubrat "Kobra" Pulev is now off as the parties involved couldn´t agree on terms.

As for Helenius there are reports in Finland about other fights in the United States but nothing has been confirmed.

Helenius put his career back on track with an impressive performance against Erkan Teper in September of last year and is now for the first time in years free from all injuries and is looking for a big fight.

Felix-Promotion have four headliners lined up for the show in Budapest February 22.  WBO # 2 cruiser Imre Szello, 22-0, takes on Slovenian Denis Simcic, 32-3-1, WBO # 1 super middle Shefat Isufi, 27-3-1, is in against Tanzanian Ibrahim Tamba, 23-10-1, and finally Mate Kis, also at super middle and WBO # 12, square off against veteran Abdalah Paziwapazi, 25-6-1, also from Tanzania.

The sole title fight on the show is for the IBO I/C title and it´s between super welters Roman Zakirov, 8-0, and Daniel Vega Cota, 13-2-1.

Heavyweights Umut Camkiran, 11-0 and Adnan Redzovic, 19-2, will according to the EBU clash for the almost always vacant EE-EU title April 19 in Istanbul. This title is open for EBU members that are not inside the EU - but should the UK go through with "Brexit" it might become more popular in a near future.

Light heavy Nick Hannig, 9-0, won a unanimous decision over Canadian Ryan Ford, 15-4, Saturday night (Feb 9) in Berlin on a Petko´s Box Promotion show. At the end it was scored 117-112 and 115-113. Hannig grabbed an early and was ahead 40-36 on all cards after four but Ford came on strong in the final six rounds. This fight was for the vacant WBC International title.

In a fight for the WBC Mediterranean title at super middle Yusuf Kanguel, 18-3-1, upset Vartan Avetisyan with a close, majority decision in a ten rounder. This one was close all the way and was in fact scored a draw after eight.
