Youtube star KSI believes that he must return to the ring for the sole purpose of ending the boxing run of social media rival Jake Paul.

In 2019, KSI won a controversial six round split decision over older brother Logan Paul.

Jake Paul turned pro the following year.

At that time, streaming app DAZN was trying to build up a fight between the younger Paul and KSI - but then the coronavirus pandemic hit.

In fact, KSI confronted Paul in the aftermath of his pro debut and they were separated after a heated face to face exchange of verbal jabs.

While KSI remained inactive, Paul aligned himself with the Triller app, who financially backed his last two pay-per-view appearances.

Jake Paul has now become a legitimate draw on the boxing stage, with the news recently breaking that he signed a promotional deal with Showtime Sports.

Last month, Paul did big business on pay-per-view when he blasted out MMA veteran Ben Askren in one round.

He intends to fight again, now under Showtime, in the coming months.

KSI, 27-years-old, is tired of seeing the non-stop headlines on Jake Paul.

He wants to get him in the ring - with the motivated goal of ending Paul's run by knocking him out.

"I'm going to fight Jake Paul, I want to fight Jake. There's a part inside of me that feels like I need to f--- him up," KSI said.

"I know he's gonna be harder than Logan, but I'm knocking him out. Jake is still thriving and it pisses me off. Soon I will be the one to end this all."
