WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (46-2-1, 33KOs) has suffered a left hand injury from last week's knockout victory over Danny Green. Wlodarczyk was behind on points when he came back in the eleventh round to stop Green. Over the next couple of days, the Polish champion continued to feel a sharp pain when moving his left hand. After going to a doctor, a break was discovered.

"When the x-rays turned out, the hand was broken at the wrist. Green had a harder jaw than I tought, or maybe it's just me and I just hit harder than everyone thought," Wlodarczyk said.
