Poland - Former WBC/IBF cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (55-4-1, 38 KOs) continued his boxing career with a solid (for his age and wear&tear) decision win over fellow veteran Olanrewaju Durodola, who falls back to 27-6, 25 KOs.

The win was the second one for Wlodarczyk, following his crushing defeat to Murat Gassiev in October 2017. Durodola has lost his second straight.

The fight itself lacked action. Durodola, 37, tried to be aggressive, while Wlodarczyk moved well laterally not to get hit and landed punches on occasion. There were almost no episodes of thrill or danger throughout an entire fight, and Durodola lost the majority of the rare exchanges. Wlodarczyk, 36, didn't impress either.

Final scores were: 98-92, 97-93 and 97-93 - for the WBC/IBF #12 ranked Pole.

Light heavyweight power-hitter Pawel Stepien (10-0, 9 KOs) did what he had been expected to do, stopping yet another opponent - this time Argentinean guest Ricardo Marcelo Ramallo (22-13-1, 16 KOs). He made it look easy, destroying the Argentinean with a hard left hook to the body late into the first.

For the last several years it was Danny Williams, a former WBC title challenger and one-time Mike Tyson-conqueror, who (alongside Roy Jones Jr.) was the poster boy of the sport's saddest moments, when he continued to be beaten up all over Europe to get negligible fees for fighting under shady jurisdictions.

Now this infamous glory also belongs to another Brit, Michael Sprott.

This time, the 43-year old was splattered in two by Pole Lukasz Rozanski (9-0, 8 KOs). Sprott (now 42-29, 17 KOs) was down twice in the first, and then again in the second round - this time for good. It's his seventh consecutive loss.

Unlike some local fighters, the locally-based Ukrainian import Fedor Cherkashin (10-0, 7 KOs) continued to impress. Super middleweight Cherkashin, 22, dropped experienced Belgium-based Tunisian Ayoub Nefzi (26-11-2, 5 KOs) with a damaging left hand to the liver at the end of the first. Nefzi, 38, came out still hurt, covering his left side but ate a picturesque right blow to the solar plexus to be counted out early into the second stanza.

Light middleweight Przemyslaw Zysk (7-0, 3 KOs) didn't impress but got a solid eight-round unanimous decision over tough-as-nails Estonian veteran Pavel Smejonov (22-10-2, 8 KOs). Zysk was effective, tricky and showcased sound technique but lacked punching power to really hurt Semjonov. Final scores were: 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73.

Grizzled welterweight Polish veteran Rafal Jackiewicz, 41, has finally got his milestone 50th career win a week after his first attempt at the mark was spoilt by countryman Robert Swierzbinski. This time, everything was in place for Jackiewicz to get what he wished for. Yet his win over Belarussian journeyman Alexnader Zemko (5-5, 1 KO) wasn't easy. Jackiewicz started solidly but ate many shots in round three and later on before making one last run in the closing round. Scores were: 57-57, 58-56, and 59-55 - for the Pole, who is now 50-19-2, with 22 KOs.
