At long last the November 19th match-up at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas between light heavyweight king Sergey Kovalev (30-0, 26KOs) and Andre Ward (30-0, 15KOs) was formally announced on Saturday. A press release was sent out announcing that tickets would go on sale this upcoming Friday

But all that was announced in terms of pricing was,"Tickets start at $55 and are available on axs.com and the T-Mobile Arena box office."

According to Kathy Duva, the head of Main Events (which represents Kovalev) - "They start at $55, they go up to $1,005. There is a limited number of $1005 and $755 tickets. So it's pretty much for the casino guests. There will be $255 tickets available for the lower bowl and there will be mostly $55 and $155 tickets in the upper bowl. So it's going to be priced extremely affordable. A lot like the (Arturo) Gatti fights."

The T-Mobile Arena is a brand new facility that opened up this year and hosted it's first boxing event on May 7th when Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez faced Amir Khan. MGM Grand is the host hotel for this event, which is being co-promoted by Main Events and Roc Nation Sports.

"We've got he high prices for the high rollers and the casino customers and the rest of the building is set up for the real fans and I hope they do show up. I hope there's people in the building for the undercard so there's going to be real boxing fans. It will only make the atmosphere that much more electric,'' Duva told BoxingScene.com
