The event that features Quebecer Kim Clavel (16-0-1, 3 KOs) to get back in the ring to face Naomi "La Chapita" Arellano Reyez (9-2-0, 5 KOs) from Los Angeles has been moved to Friday, May 12 at Place Bell in Laval.

GYM President Yvon Michel explained: “The participation in the playoffs of the Laval Rocket, at Place Bell, made it difficult to keep the scheduled date of April 28. This is the reason why we have postponed this important boxing card for 15 days, to Friday May 12 which is available and without possibility of conflict."

All tickets purchased for April 28 will be honored for May 12.

This will be the first fight for Clavel, 32, since her clash on January 13, against WBA champion Yesica Nery Plata (29-2-0, 3 KOs), which the Quebecer lost by decision and in turn was unseated of her WBC world title.

May 12 will mark the start of a new run for Clavel, who intends to prove herself again, reposition herself and get a rematch with Plata as soon as possible.

Clavel is currently ranked #1 WBC, #2 IBF and #1 under the WBO.

Clavel, 32, won her WBC crown on July 29 in 2022, in Montreal, by beating defending champion Yesenia Gomez (19-5-3) by 10-round unanimous decision at the Casino de Montreal.
