Current IBF Pan-Pacific super bantamweight champion Thanthong “Machine Gun” Kiattaweesuk, (24-0, 17KOs) of Thailand, is fully focused on a title shot after winning an IBF super bantamweight eliminator over Macbute Sinyabi (18-2, 18KOs) of South Africa at a temporary stadium in City Hall of Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. The win earned him the ability to challenge full champion Jeffery Mathebula (26-3-2, 14KOs) of South Africa.

In the eliminator Sinyabi attacked by using his very long reach, but Kiattaweesuk used speed and activity to counter those attacks - and scored knockdowns in round two, round six and a third one in round two before referee Gerard White (USA) immediately stopped the bout and announced Kiattaweesuk as the winner at 2’32” of the round.

Mr. Ekkarat “Jimmy” Chaichotchuang of Kiat Kreerin Boxing Promotion, the promoter of Kiattaweesuk, felt his boxer had the best performance of his pro career.

“I will try to have IBF world title match in Thailand,” Mr. Ekkarat said.
