Former EBU champ and WBA title challenger Khoren Gevor, now training his stepsons Noel and Abel Gevor and several others, was shot in the leg late June 23, according to reports by several outlets, including BILD.

This case is said to be connected with the disappearance of Tunahan Keser (8-2-1), who is trained by Gevor.

Keser disappeared the day after Gevor was shot and the local police believe the cases are connected but exactly what's behind all of this isn´t known.

Spanish super middleweights Adasat "El Toro" Rodriguez (16-6-2) and Dutchman Nieky Holzken (12-0) will fight for the vacant EU title at a Rimer Boxe promotion in the near future.

Rodriguez has progressed well of lately and that might have to do with Swedish trainer Vassili Boguslavsli, who resides on Gran Canaria for few years now. Boguslavski trained current EBU super lightweight champ Anthony Yigit in the amateurs and in the pros as well. Holzken is mainly known for his career in kickboxing and K 1 but has of lately concentrated on professional boxing.


French super welterweightss Maxime Beaussire and Joffrey Jacob clash for the vacant EU title on November 10 in Calais. Jacob (16-0-1) previously held the national title while Beaussire (24-1-1) suffered his only loss to Zakaria Attou earlier this year an attempt to win the EU title. from then champ Zakaria Attou.


Newly crowned French middleweight champion Karim Achour (24-4-3) defends the title against veteran Michel Mothmora (29-25-0). Mothmora is back at national level after losing the WBFed world title while Achour returned to action late last year after almost a year out due to a suspension.
