Steven Donnelly and Sean McComb only made their professional debuts last weekend –– but the Northern Irish duo have already been given new fight dates.

The pair, who were showcased as part of the supporting cast to Carl Frampton's WBO interim featherweight world title defence against previously unbeaten Australian Luke Jackson, were successful on their bows in the paid code on the same card as Tyson Fury's victory over Francesco Pianeta.

Fury set up a showdown with WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder with his win over the German-based Italian.

And both Donnelly and McComb, who are trained by Ray Ginley and Danny Vaughan respectively, got to see the former unified world heavyweight champion from ringside after their own wins before learning what their next move would be.

They will both see action in England next month, having been added to the supporting cast of Amir Khan's next fight.

Khan takes on Samuel Vargas on September 8 at the Arena Birmingham, exclusively live on Sky Sports, as he builds towards a welterweight showdown with former IBF world champion Kell Brook towards the end of the year.

Tommy Langford aims to claim back the British middleweight title when he takes on fellow Midlander Jason Welborn in a rematch on the card, while Gamal Yafai and Sam Eggington will feature.

It was already announced, too, that Ryan Kelly will defend his Midlands Area super-welterweight title against Kelcie Ball.

But it has now been confirmed that Lewis Ritson, the outright British lightweight champion, will box on the bill before making his comeback in his hometown of Newcastle on October 13 at the Metro Radio Arena.

Osman Aslam, the man who boxed on Khan’s April obliteration of Phil Lo Greco, gets another outing, while there will be action for Kieron Conway, Commonwealth Games gold medallist Scott Fitzgerald, Qais Ashfaq and Shakan Pitters.
