Ali Abdelaziz, manager for retired MMA star Khabib Nurmagomedov, is backing Youtuber Jake Paul to batter former UFC champion Conor McGregor in a boxing match.

Khabib stopped McGregor in 2018, in what was the biggest pay-per-view fight in the history of the UFC.

Paul, 3-0 as a pro with 3 knockouts, has been aggressively chasing a potential boxing match with McGregor. He claims to have sent the Irish fighter a deal worth $50 million.

McGregor, currently the biggest name in the UFC, has shown little to no interest in the fight.

Last month, Paul stopped former UFC fighter Ben Askren in the first round.

If a deal every comes together, Khabib's manager expects Paul to beat McGregor in impressive fashion.

“Jake Paul, I like this kid. You know why? Because he is real. When he talked about Conor’s wife, [Paul] said [McGregor] talked about Khabib’s wife. I like Jake Paul.

"I think he’ll beat the sh!t out of Conor, Conor's team-mates, all these guys. I like his brother too. Logan Paul, I like these kids, they make something from nothing. Even Mike Tyson likes these kids. Mike is my friend.”

McGregor, 32, who earlier this year was knocked out in a rematch with Dustin Poirier, is expected to have a trilogy fight him on a date in July.

Paul is expected to return in another fight this year. Several names have been kicked around, but there is no clear opponent at the moment.
