Kell Brook returns to the ring later this week.

The former IBF welterweight world champion, who lost his belt last time out against Errol Spence Jr. in Sheffield in May 2017, will fight at super-welterweight for the first time.

Brook, 31, comes up against Sergey Rabchenko at the FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield, exclusively live on Sky Sports on Saturday (March 3) in his first outing since fracturing his eye socket in defeat to Spence Jr. at Bramall Lane last year.

Rabchenko, from Belarus, is a former WBC Silver champion in the 154-pound division and the same belt will be at stake in a vacant capacity this weekend as Brook looks to beat him and get back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats, including a September 2016 retirement defeat at the hands of middleweight guru Gennady Golovkin at the O2 Arena in London.

Brook's ring return against Rabchenko, who was once associated with British boxing legend Ricky Hatton, is part of a card promoted by Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing which is being billed 'Rise Again'.

Gamal Yafai takes on former world title challenger Gavin McDonnell in a defence of the WBC International title at super-bantamweight, while David Allen gets a second crack at the Commonwealth heavyweight title when he takes on Jamaica's Lenroy Thomas in a rematch.

Sam Eggington is set to make his debut at super-welterweight after moving up following defeat to Mohamed Mimoune in the last defence of his European welterweight title last October and Kid Galahad features alongside Liverpool's Rocky Fielding, Nottingham super-featherweight Leigh Wood and Lee Appleyard, who takes on Atif Shafiq in a tasty all-Sheffield affair.

Tickets for Brook’s clash with Rabchenko are priced £40, £60, £80, £100, £150 and £250 VIP. Tickets are on sale to Matchroom Fight Pass members from www.stubhub.co.uk and on general sale at the FlyDSA Arena at www.flydsaarena.co.uk and on 0114 2565656.
