After arriving England with his team all but days ago, Michael Katsidis “the Great” was straight back into training today determined to make his fight with Ricky Burns three for three on UK soil.

Katsidis went through a small workout in his former opponent’s (Graham Earl) gym, ahead of his World Title showdown this weekend at Wembley arena.

“It was just a light session today” Trainer/Manager Brendon Smith said “Everything is running smooth for us... There is a great feeling in the camp!”

Following the training session Katsidis attended a charity fundraiser for “Keech for kids” a charity that is set up for terminally ill kids across the UK. While there, Katsidis and the team had the opportunity to meet Graham Earl’s  family, which goes to show that you can be enemies in the ring and professionals out.  Both fighters signed a pair of gloves to be auctioned on the night to help raise funds.

Katsidis is fighting for the WBO interim Lightweight World Title on November 5th (6th in Australia) at Wembley Arena in London, the fight can be purchased through www.mainevent.com.au
