Undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor is a few days away from his next defense, which comes against undefeated contender Karen Eizabeth Carabajal at Wembley Arena in London.

The bout will be Taylor's first since her tough split decision win over Amanda Serrano in April at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Beyond the fight with Carabajal, Taylor is hoping to get some big fights that generate a lot of attention.

One of those fights is a possible showdown with MMA superstar Cris Cyborg.

"I think she had a fight a few weeks ago, she was getting a bit of boxing experience under her belt I guess," Taylor said to The DAZN Boxing Show.

"She is an MMA legend, she’s a lot bigger and heavier than me as well so that makes for an interesting fight. I would be willing to step into the ring with her if that’s the fight people are interested in so that could be possibility."

Last month, Cyborg made her boxing debut in Brazil with a unanimous decision over Simone Silva.

Over the years, Cyborg has expressed heavy interest in fighting for a world title in the sport of boxing.

Another possible option for Taylor, in 2023, is a rematch with Serrano.

Since their meeting, Serrano dropped back to super featherweight and is one belt away from becoming the undisputed world champion in the weight class. Taylor is more than willing to face Serrano for a second time and believes their rematch should be a stadium fight after generating big numbers at MSG.

"You’ve seen how big the first fight was, imagine how big the rematch would be, especially if it was at Croke Park [in Dublin], 80,000 people, the atmosphere would be unmatched," Taylor said. "I was ready to take the immediate rematch, so hopefully it can happen again soon."
