More fights and new names are being added to the

recently announced boxing event

promoted by Vladimir Hryunov, which takes place this Friday, June 26 at TRAMPLIN Restaurant and Arena in Moscow, Russia.

As was previously reported, the main event will feature the WBA FedeLatin light welterweight collision between Azerbaijani Ramal Amanov (7-0) and Panamanian William Gonzalez (23-8-1, 8 KOs) over ten rounds of action. Another minor title ten-rounder has been added to the card today.

Former Ukrainian super middleweight stalwart and ex-WBA interim champion Stanislav Kashtanov (32-1, 17 KOs), who has been competing in Donetsk for almost entire life, will make his second ring appearance under Hryunov’s promotion versus always willing veteran Konstantin Piternov (18-7, 9 KOs), who has faced the elite of Eastern European crop over his career, including Dmitry Sukhotskiy, Ismail Sillakh and Dmitry Bivol (losing on a TKO on each occasion). Piternov is a former Russian super middleweight champion, and exactly this belt will be at stake in this fight.

“Stas Kashtanov’s fight for the Russian national title will pave the road for his future progress and will be another step towards a world title clash”, proclaimed Hryunov. “I’m absolutely sure that Stanislav will get his WBA interim title back in his next fight. Also, we shall present an entirely new open-air format for our competitions on June 26. I think such kind of tourneys will become very popular in Moscow very soon.”

Also on the card is Dilmurod Satybaldiev, who defeated Piternov less than a year ago and recently a national 168lb champion. Satybaldiev (7-1, 3 KOs) was previously announced to face Nathan King (14-26, 1 KO) of Wales.

King seems to be out, and Satybaldiev’s new opponent will be defined soon. The official portal of the Professional Boxing Federation of Russia lists Karen Tevosyan (19-4-3, 10 KOs) as his new possible opponent. Tevosyan hasn’t been seen in the ring since his one-sided decision loss to Victor Postol at the very end of 2011.

20-year old heavyweight Pavel Doroshilov (2-0) is announced to take on faded Columbian veteran Epifanio Mendoza (40-21-1, 34 KOs) over six though a name of Russia-based Albanian Bedarin Toma (6-3, 3 KOs) is surfaced by the Federation.

Two more pairs will take part in the event: Mukhtar Khizriev (4-1) faces Mark Chimidov (1-2) in a six-round light heavyweight bout; rookie middleweight Magomed Madiev makes his pro debut versus Andrey Tomaschuk (0-1) in a schedule four-round affair.

“THE GOLDEN GLOVES AWARDS” is a set of specific trophies, arranged by Hryunov, where winners are defined by experts’ and fans’ polls in various nominations via BoxKo.ru portal and community, closely related to Hryunov. Taking part in the ceremony are a number of Russian pop stars plus Russia’s arguably best fighter ever Kostya Tszyu and Frank Warren.

Finally, an official presentation and a Russian launch of the UK’s top boxing channel BoxNation will be organized within the event. BoxNation will be distributed via Tricolor satellite set.
