Undefeated WBO bantamweight champion Tomoki Kameda (31-0, 19KOs) will have his unification with British WBA "regular" champion Jamie McDonnell (25-2-1, 12KOs) on a date in March, according to the Japanese boxer's coach Ruben Lira of Mexico.

"Tomoki will unify his world bantamweight championship of the WBO against WBA champion McDonnell, in early March," Lira said.

"I saw [McDonnell] fight with Julio Ceja and he won't be easy, he's strong, so we have to make a good preparation and strategy. [Kameda] wants to fight the best in each division, bantamweight and then featherweight. We did two fights [in 2014], one in Las Vegas and one in Chicago. We want to outdo what was done this year and in 2015 we will outdo that and go unify the championship. We are confident that Tomoki will succeed in his fight against McDonnell."
