Sources close to the negotiations have advised BoxingScene that perennial junior middleweight contender Ishe Smith (24-5, 11KOs) will vie for the IBF title as he takes on Cornelius "K9" Bundrage (32-4, 19KOs). The date has not been solidified but it appears the fight is heading to a February Showtime televised date. Bundrage recently signed a promotional agreement with Golden Boy Promotions. Smith has been getting active after signing with Floyd Mayweather's Mayweather Promotions, and went 2 for 2 in 2012.
