The grandsons of the late Gabriel “Flash” Elorde improved their records after beating their foes on the “Boxing Against Drugs” card that recently took place at their family-owned Elorde Sports Center in Sucat, Paranaque City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Southpaw Juan Martin “Bai” Elorde (8-0, 2 KOs) beat Mark Mariano in his first fight in 10 months when he earned a unanimous decision win over six rounds.

Two judges scored the bout 58-56 while the third official saw 60-54 all in favor of the 24-year old super featherweight.

Juan Miguel “Mig” Elorde, 22, was more impressive when he dominated Bartoleme Llona in their four-round fight at bantamweight.

The younger but taller Elorde at 5-foot-8 improved his unblemished record to 5-0, 1 KOs.

These young fighters are two of three sons of Johnny and Liza Elorde, who promoted the fight under their boxing promotion company, the Johnny Elorde Management International.

In the same card, former WBO flyweight title challenger Rexon Flores earned a unanimous decision win over four rounds against Danny Linasa. All three judges had it 40-35 all in favor of Flores.

Glenn Sumingit stopped Manny Talisic at 2:56 of the first of their scheduled 6-round flyweight fight.

Anthony Esmedina traded hard punches before he took a very close unanimous decision win against Jojo Cuezon over 8-round at featherweight.

Bantamweight Jomar Ballar had easy time teaching Jaypee Alipio a neat boxing lesson in their 8-round contest.

Ballar scored a knockdown in the fifth but was deducted a point when Alipio suffered a cut from and accidental clash of heads.

Minimumweight Jomar Elorde was also deducted a point from an accidental headbutt in the third when Brian Diano got a cut but he put the outcome of the fight in his hands when he scored a TKO win at 2:15 of round 7.

Jonathan Tacuning and Roy Jones Picardal figured in a technical draw at 2:08 in the 3rd of their scheduled 10-round fight at flyweight while Monico Laurente earned a UD victory against Edgar Gabijan over 10 round in their 122 pounds fight.
