The focus of Juan Francisco 'El Gallo' Estrada is to defeat Dewayne Beamon on Saturday at the CUM of Hermosillo, Sonora, but the motivation is to know that a big fight could be coming in 2019 against WBA super flyweight champion Khalid 'Kal' Yafai of the UK.

While the pride of Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, is only focused on this upcoming defense and at the moment there are no negotiations for a unification with Yafai, it seems that these are the plans of Zanfer and Matchroom Boxing, who co-promote the WBC super flyweight champion.

"The first thing is that I want to win, and then I expect a unification with Yafai. There are rumors of fighting on the undercard of Andy Ruiz's rematch with (Anthony) Joshua and that's where we will unify our titles. If all goes well this August 24, those are the plans," revealed Estrada to ESPN Deportes.

Yafai is undefeated with a record of 26 and 15 of them knockout.

Estrada is a big favorite to beat Beamon according to the experts, but he knows that he cannot take anything for granted or allow himself to stumble before his crowd, and that's why he took part in a top-level preparation with coach Alfredo Caballero and his team.

"The truth is that I expect a hard and good fight for people, I have already seen Beamon fight and I have seen videos, he is a fast, strong fighter... it will be an exciting fight, I hope he comes well prepared to give him a great show to the people. We expect 10 to 12 thousand people to break the attendance record (in the CUM)," Estrada added.

Juan Francisco comes back from dethroning Srisaket Sor Rungvisai of Thailand. The victory raised his record to 39-3 with 26 by knockout.

For Beamon, he comes in with a record of 16-1-1 with 11 knockouts, and this will be his seventh consecutive fight on Mexican soil. He comes in after beating Martín Tecuapetla last October, after having lost him a couple of months prior
