CAGUAS, P.R. Juan Carlos Camacho, Jr. from Ponce, Puerto Rico one of the top amateurs fighters who for the past three years was one of the best amateur fighters in the island and he reigned three times as the national champion of 114 pounds, both juvenile and adult, is the latest acquisition for Miguel Cotto Promotions.

Managed by his father, and trained by Cesar Seda Sr. in the Singapore gym, Juana Diaz, Camacho will be making his pro debut on Saturday August 6th in the card that the company led by five-time world champion will present at the Coliseum Cosme Beitía, Cataño as part of the EMMY award nominne series Boxeo Al Maximo

"We were analyzin several options to sign as professional, and we decide to signed with Cotto Promotions," said the 19 year old fighter. "It is the company that actually has the best fighters in my weight and the most solid one in Puerto Rico."

Juan Carlos Camacho Jr. will make his pro-debut against Luis Villegas from Rio Grande.

Boxeo Al Maximo in Cataño will be headlined by spectacular power puncher, Alberto 'Explosivo' Machado (14-0, 12 KOs) who will take the Mexican Yardley Suarez (15-3, 9KO's) and also stars alongside the great puncher Angel 'Tito' Acosta (13-0, 13 KOs) facing the Dominican Juan Guzman (22-5, 12 KOs).

In addition, Jose 'Chiquiro' Martinez (17-0, 10) will collide at 115 pounds with the Nicaraguan veteran Juan Palacios (32-5, 12KO’s) , a former interim champion for WBC and WBA, and Carlos Narvaez (14-0 and six) will take the warior Juan "Cowi" Herrera (14-9-1, 4KO’s).
