O2 Arena (Millenium Dome), Greenwich, London - Olympic gold medal winner, British heavyweight Anthony Joshua (1-0, 1KOs) made his pro debut and destroyed previously undefeated Emanuele Leo (8-1, 3KOs) in the first round . Joshua overpowered him, beat him up and drilled him near the end to close the show.

For the WBA super bantamweight title, a battle of unbeatens saw Scott Quigg (26-0-2, 19KOs) and Yoandris Salinas (20-0-1, 13KOs) fought to a twelve round majority draw. The scores were 114-114, 115-113 and 114-114.

Salinas controlled the action with his boxing ability but Quigg started pushing the tempo as the rounds played out and rallied hard in the final quarter as Salinas' nose was damaged. Some of the rounds were close, with Salinas doing the better work and Quigg landing the harder shots. Quigg changed the direction of the fight in the second half and really pushed the fight with combinations to the head and body in the final two rounds.

Lightweight contender Kevin Mitchell (35-2, 25KOs) beat down Marco Lopez (23-3, 14KOs) over six rounds. Huge shot to the body in the fourth created a knockdown. After taking more punishment and suffering another knockdown in the sixth -the referee was forced to wave things off.

Hot lightweight prospect Luke Campbell (2-0, 2KOs) scored a first round TKO over Neil Hepper (5-3).

In a high-stakes British cruiserweight title eliminator, Tony Conquest (12-1, 5KOs) survived two knockdowns to win a ten round decision over Wadi Camacho (10-2, 6KOs).

Tony Owen (15-2, 2KOs) dropped Danny Connor (10-7-1) in the ninth round and picked up a ten round decision in their Southern Area junior welterweight title fight.

junior middleweight George Michael Carman (11-1-1) won a six round decision over previously undefeated prospect Matthew Ryan (4-1) in a close fight.

Cruiserweight Ben Ileyemi (1-0, 1KO) made his pro debut and stopped Stanislavs Makarenko (2-5) in the secon round. Makarenko was dropped hard in the first and got finished off in the second.
