Kissimmee, FL - Everything is set for the return of the successful series  “Boxeo TELEMUNDO Ford” to the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, FL this Friday, August 26.

The main event will feature a rematch between WBO Latino Jr. Featherweight Champion Jose “Miau” Nieves (18-2-3-8 KO’s) of Carolina, Puerto Rico will defend his Title against former WBC Continental Americas Champion Cuauhtemoc Vargas (15-5-1-10 KO’s) of Mexico City, Mexico in a rematch bout. In their first encounter last April 29 at the Kissimmee Civic Center Nieves won a controversial split decision in an action packed fight.

Also in action:
-    German heavyweight prospect Erkan Teper (6-0-3 KO’s) faces Willie Herring (12-9-3-3 KO’s) of Orlando, FL in a six-round battle;
-    Xavier “X-Factor” Burgos (7-2-2 KO’s) of Puerto Rico faces Jose Duran (6-5-3 KO’s) of Mexico in a four-round junior welterweight bout;
-    Angel Martinez (1-0-1) of Puerto Rico faces Phillip Penson (2-0-1 KO) of Orlando, FL, in a four-round battle between unbeaten middleweight newcomers;
-    Alan Sanchez (1-0-1 KO) of  Puerto Rico faces Frank Gedeon (3-0-2 KO’s) of Palm Beach, FL in a four-round junior middleweight affair;
-    Danny Pastrana (2-2) of Orlando, FL faces Luis Cruz (Pro-debut) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL in a middleweight bout scheduled for four rounds.

First bell is at 8:30 PM, with a total of nine bouts on the card. Telemundo Network - available in HD - will televise the main event at 11:35 PM EST live in the US and Televisa Deportes Network will televise at 11:00 PM CST in Mexico and Central America.
