New York—Gotham Boxing chief Cedric Kushner beams that the February 28th the “Russians Are Coming” fight extravaganza at the Roseland Ballroom is “the best local fight card that I’ve ever promoted, hands down!”

The promotion with Bash Boxing featuring  IBF junior bantamweight world champion Dimitri Kirilov in his first title defense against Cecilio “Boga” Santos, and the return to the ring of ever popular Dmitriy Salita, has been bolstered significantly by eight undercard tilts that will have fight enthusiasts salivating from the opening bell.

The addition of two championship matches spotlight Kushner’s claim. Undefeated local hero and NY State champ Jorge “The Truth” Teron gets his title chance in a 12-round WBO Intercontinental Lightweight Championship for the vacant belt in that class. The ladies will also be in action when WIBA Women’s Flyweight World Champion Elena “Baby Doll” Reid puts her belt on the line against Eileen Olszewski.

Flag-waving patriots will salute former U.S. Marine Jon Schneider when the Yonkers, NY native sees action in a six rounder. Tough-minded Amanda Serrano of Brooklyn will make her professional debut, while promising Albanian heavyweight Badarin Toma will also make his first pro appearance, both in four round contests.

Three more fights will be added by Kushner as the February 28th date moves closer on the calendar.

Tickets are priced at $200, $150, $100 and $50 and are available by calling Gotham Boxing at 212 755-1944.
