Former welterweight champion Luis Collazo (33-5-0, 17 KO's) of San Juan has suffered an injury and won't be able to move forward with a planned fight against Tijuana's Jorge "Pantera" Silva (20-3-2, 16 KO's) on June 15th at the Convention Center Villahermosa in Tabasco, Mexico. It was scheduled for the International welterweight crown of the World Boxing Council (WBC). The card is headlined by junior welterweight Roberto "Massa" Ortiz taking on Jorge Romero.

Silva will still appear on the show and a suitable replacement is being sought. The NABF welterweight title is now being discussed as potentially being up for grabs in the match.

Also set to see action on the show is undefeated Puerto Rican featherweight Jayson Velez (20-0, 15 KO's), who will take part in a scheduled eight-rounder against an opponent to be determined. Hard punching super middleweight contender Librado Andrade (30-5, 23 KO's) will return on the card in an eight round fight.
