Former middleweight/cruiserweight champion Jorge “Locomotora” Castro (130-11-3, 90 KO´s), looking sharp, but far from being in good shape, got a measure of revenge by devastating the Colombian Luis “La Pantera” Herrera (14-3, 14 KO´s) by a TKO in the second round.

Castro, avenging a four-round TKO loss that he suffered at the hands of Herrera last April. This time around, Herrera was just a shadow of the boxer that beat him.

Herrera was almost motionless during the first round and went down four times in the second, twice as a result of body shot combinations.

The bout that took place at the Patinodromo in Mar del Plata, Argentina puts Castro back in the boxing scene, after the car accident he suffered, leaving him in a coma for 20 days, only months before his worst loss at the hands of Herrera at the Luna Park, Buenos Aires.

Castro´s “Final Revenge” might not be so, as he announced he might get back on the ring by August this year.
