Los Mochis, Sin. - Mexico's WBO bantamweight champion Jorge Arce (59-6-2, 45KOs) is training hard at the Montiel Gym, preparing for his upcoming rematch against against Venezuela's Lorenzo Parra, which takes place on February 18th in Durango.

Arce, who may be fighting in his final career year, wants to settle all of his outstanding debts. He wants to get revenge on Parra (31-3-1, 18KOs) for a ten round draw in September 2010. The draw cost Arce a mandatory shot at the WBO super bantamweight title. The Mexican fighter eventually captured the belt the following year with a 12th round TKO over then-unbeaten Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.

"Last year I managed the feat of being the first Mexican in boxing to capture championships in five weight classes and that adds motivation to continue my career. I am going to beat Parra clearly, and by knockout if possible. I'm still in the prime of my career and I will prove it in Durango," Arce said.
