WBO bantamweight champion Jorge "Travieso" Arce (59-6, 45KOs) is once again scheduled to fight Venezuelan Lorenzo "Lencho" Parra (31-3, 18KOs). Their rematch is back on for February 18th in Mexicali, Mexico. They previously fought to a draw in September 2010, at super bantamweight. The WBO refused to sanction the rematch, because of Parra's poor ranking status with their organization. The fight is going to be a ten round non-title encounter, likely at super bantamweight or above.

"I wanted to defend my title, but the WBO would not approve Parra, with whom I have a draw. Parra is strong, and has a good boxing style, and that's why I'm going to prepare very well. God willing, I will beat him and then wait for the winner of Nonito Donaire and Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.," Arce said.
