Mexicali, Mexico - Five-division world champion Jorge "Travieso" Arce reached 60 professional wins by knocking out Venezuelan Lorenzo "Lencho" Parra in the fifth round of their super bantamweight rematch. They went to draw in September 2010. Arce, the current WBO champion in the bantamweight division, was fighting in a non-title bout.

Arce (60-6-1, 46 KOs) attacked Parra (31-5-1, 18 KOs) from the start and worked the body in every round. He dropped Parra several times with shots to the body - once in the third and two more times in the fourth. In the fifth, more shots to the head and body would send Parra down to his knees. Parra, who already suffered a lot of punishment in the fight, took the referee's full count of ten, with the fight being called at 1:02.

"I'm ready to face Nonito Donaire whenever and wherever....whenever they want to sign the contract," Arce said after the fight.

In the co-feature, welterweight contender Jorge "Maromerito" Paez (31-4-0, 19 KOs) stopped Octavio "Tayo" Castro (16-8-0, 9 KOs) in the third round after knocking him silly with a combination and then following up with additional punches to force the referee's stoppage.
