According to the Grand Rapids Press, undefeated cruiserweight prospect Jordan Shimmell (15-0, 13 KOs) of Grand Rapids has joined the swelling ranks of adviser Al Haymon, who also works with Grand Rapids boxers Floyd Mayweather and Peter Quillin. Shimmell's manager Dennis Shimmell Jr. announced the deal on Thursday.

"It's by far the biggest turn in my career and definitely in the right direction for my main goal of becoming a world champ," Jordan said. "I'm happy that I have an opportunity to work with him. I'm hoping it gets me onto bigger shows and makes me a little more well known for bigger fights."
