Eddy Reynoso has trained some of the top fighters in the sport.

Those include undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez, multi-division world titleholder Oscar Valdez and unbeaten heavyweight contender Frank Sanchez.

Reynoso believes he has a top fighter that can make noise at 130 pounds.

Unbeaten Jonathan Lopez will face Jose Santos Gonzalez tonight at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in San Diego, California. The eight-bout card will be co-promoted by No Boxing No Life, Clase y Talento, MarvNation, and Borizteca Boxing and will stream live on ESPN Knockout throughout Latin America (10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT).

Lopez (12-0, 8 knockouts), who resides in Orlando, Florida, last fought on June 2, dropping former world title challenger Eduardo Baez once en route to a unanimous decision victory. In his previous fight on May 3, Lopez stopped Osvaldo Nunez Medina in the second round.

The decision won over Baez snapped a string of six consecutive knockout victories.

The 20-year-old has fought often on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. Tonight’s fight against Gonzalez will be Lopez’s fourth fight this year after three times in 2022.

Gonzalez (23-11-1, 13 KOs), who resides in Guadalajara, Mexico, lost by technical decision to Diego De La Hoya in his last fight on December 17.

The 33-year-old has lost seven of his last eight fights, with the only non-blemish being a draw against Manuel ‘Tino’ Avila in March 2019.

In lightweight action, lightweight Adrian Torres will square off against William Flenoy (3-2-1, 1 KO) of Fresno in a six-round bout.

Torres (5-0, 4 KOs) resides in Tijuana, California.

Adan Palma (6-0, 4 KOs) of San Diego will face Venezuela’s Giovanny Gonzalez (2-3, 2 KOs) in a four-round junior featherweight bout.

Another San Diego fighter, Jaime Cuesta, will put his 5-0, 2 KOs record on the line against Colin Huntington (2-2, 1 KO) of Kalamazoo, Michigan in a four-round lightweight bout.
