Olympic silver medal winner Joe Joyce is looking to get back on track in 2024.

Last year was a disaster, with Joyce suffering back to back stoppage losses at the hands of Chinese giant Zhilei Zhang.

Joyce was very interested in last month's 'Day of Reckoning' event, which featured several top heavyweights in key fights.

"It was a great night to watch the boxing. I stayed in and watched it – it was good. There were big heavyweight fights, some good light heavyweight fights too that I watched and there were some good upsets," Joyce said.

"With Joseph Parker and Deontay Wilder, I thought Joseph Parker was a good boxer and would give him trouble, but I thought Wilder may have got a big shot in there in round 10 but he got completely battered and convincingly beat against Parker."

Joyce stands firm that he would like to see Parker and Daniel Dubois collide in the ring. And Joyce, who stopped both men, would like to fight the winner of such a match.

"Yeah, that would be interesting and then I fight the winner but there’s plenty of other big fights. It would be a good fight to get me back in there but I’m just focusing on getting a win before I look too far ahead on what’s on offer," Joyce said.

As far as Wilder goes, Joyce fully expects him to continue in the ring.

"Of course, he’ll continue. He’s been ring rusty after being out of the ring for two years and Parker is a good skillful fighter. It was a tough fight to come back to and he couldn’t land that big shot and was under fire the whole time, but he is always dangerous. There’s plenty of other fights and we can all mix it together," Joyce said.
