Joe Ham will fight for his first professional title when he returns to the ring.

The undefeated Glaswegian, 25, is currently 10-0 with five early endings but will be looking to advance his flawless ledger, live on Sky Sports.

Ham is scheduled for action at the SSE Hydro Arena in his home city on April 15, as part of the supporting cast to Ricky Burns’ WBA super-lightweight title defence against IBF and IBO champion Julius Indongo.

And he confirmed on social media recently that he would be fighting for the vacant Celtic super-bantamweight title on the card.

Boxing Scene understands that Scott McCormack (5-2-1) will be the man in the opposite corner, though that has yet to be formally confirmed.

Elsewhere, Willie Limond is expected to be added to the card which already features Scott Cardle in a defence of the British lightweight title against an opponent to be named.

Charlie Edwards and Iain Butcher will meet in a clash for the vacant British super-flyweight title and there is action for Callum Johnson.

Josh Kelly, who recently inked promotional terms with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing, will make his professional debut on the card and Charlie Flynn will face Ryan Collins for the vacant Celtic lightweight title.

Meanwhile, Felix Cash will box on the bill and Lawrence Okolie could be added to the card after making his professional debut, which is expected to be on March 25 at the Manchester Arena, as part of the undercard of Anthony Crolla’s world lightweight title rematch against Jorge Linares.
