Two-time Puerto Rican Olympian Jeyvier Cintron feels no pressure for his important clash against former world champion Koki Eto of Japan - taking place this Saturday, May 25, in a WBO 115-pound world elimination to be held at the Osceola Heritage Park of Kissimmee, Florida in a Top Rank presentation.

With only 10 fights, of which he has won five by KO, the #5 ranked by the WBO and Latino champion of that entity at 115 pounds, Cintron, will face the experienced Eto (24-4-1, 19 KOs), who was WBA Interim World Champion in 2013 and is currently ranked #4 by the WBO.

"I don't have pressure, this fight is an eliminator, and the one that wins goes for the world title. I feel ready now, with only 10 fights as a professional, we want to achieve that goal: to become a champion with only a few fights and God is going to help me to fulfill it," said Cintron, the first and only Puerto Rican boxer to participate in two Olympic Games (2012 and 2016).

"We are 100% prepared, now we are working with the weight, thank God we are well and now we are going to give everything."

Cintron, 24, made his professional debut in 2017, and is coming off a first-round knockout victory over Nicaraguan Eliecer Quezada on March 29.

In 2018, the Puerto Rican fought seven times in different scenarios (United States, Dominican Republic, Colombia and Puerto Rico). The bout against Eto will be his fourth straight agreed upon for 10 rounds.

"We have already fought 10 rounds, but we are now against a Japanese fighter who is quite aggressive, we have done the job perfectly, we have prepared ourselves for any style that the rival brings in. We know that (Eto) has many things in his favor: a veteran, former champion, has fought with a number of fighters who are at the top. I barely have 10 fights (as a professional), but I have the desire and I know I will get that victory for Puerto Rico," said Cintrón who had almost 300 fights in the amateurs.

"I was anxiously waiting for this moment and it came. Now it is time to show the world what I am made of and that I came to this world to shine."
