A potentially explosive double header is on tap for the July 11 Telefutura card at the Isleta Casino Resort in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The opening bout should be a slugfest as two fighters who are full tilt, full time meet up. Jesus Soto-Karass and David Estrada are two fighters that never disappoint the fans and they now get to test themselves against one another.

Soto-Karass is 20-3-3 (14KOs) and has been on a tear going 9-0-2 over his last eleven and he has not been put in easy either. He has been very impressive in recent fights televised on Telefutura and VERSUS. He has been climbing the rankings with each win and is rated as high as #7 in the world by the WBC.

Estrada is a veteran who has been in with, and has tested, some of the best welterweights in the world. He is 22-4 (13KOs) and his four losses have come against Shane Mosley, Andre Berto, Kermit Cintron and Ishe Smith. He is rated as high as #9 in the latest WBC ratings.

The bout which is being billed as the main event, matches local puncher Ray Sanchez III against Joaquin Zamora. Sanchez (21-2, 16KOs) is one fight removed from his tussle with Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. He bounced back from the stoppage loss to JCC, Jr. to score a majority decision over Patrick Thompson earlier this month.

Zamora is 15-2-1 (10KOs) and has ten straight wins (six by stoppage). He has fought twelve times in New Mexico so Sanchez III may not have the home court advantage that he is used to when fighting at home.
