Jessie Vargas (28-2-1) faces Thomas Dulorme this Saturday night at the WinTrust Arena in Chicago, IL in the main event of the first DAZN card that will take place on U.S. soil.  The sports streaming company recently reached an agreement to pay Matchroom Boxing USA's Eddie Hearn $1 billion dollars over 8 years to stream fight cards in the United States.

Vargas, who is of Mexican descent will face Dulorme ,who grew up in Puerto Rico.  The Mexico-Puerto Rico rivalry is the biggest in the sport and Vargas expects the fight to produce fireworks.

"He is a fighter with an entertaining style. He fights with his heart. It’s an attribute that is common for a Puerto Rican fighter. They don’t know how to give up and specially in his position. He has everything to gain and nothing to lose," Vargas explained.

The WBC silver welterweight title will be on the line and potential big fights in the future will be available for the winner.  Shawn Porter is the champion of the division and former champion Andre Berto is the  mandatory challenger while Keith Thurman is their champion in recess.  Vargas is interested in facing any of them.

Vargas knows that in order to land one of those fights, he not only has to win but win in style.

"I have the best fans in the sport! I want to thank them for supporting me through the years and I look forward to continuing to count on there support for all my big fights to come. Tune in on October 6th on DAZN or if you are in Chicago come check us out at the Wintrust arena. We promise a superb night of boxing with a lot of action. This is a can't miss fight and I plan on putting on a show," Vargas told BoxingScene.com.

The entire fight card will be streamed in its entirety on DAZN.  The card includes two title fights, WBA super bantamweight champion Danny Roman against Gavin McDonnell and IBF light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev against his mandatory challenger Callum Johnson.
