On November 11th in Fresno, California, WBO super bantamweight belt-holder, Jessie Magdaleno faces the rugged Cesar Juarez as part of a ESPN triple-header. Jose Ramirez will face Mike Reed and Artur Beterbiev collides with Enrico Koelling for the vacant IBF light heavyweight title.

The fight will be the second defense for Magdaleno.

"We're still in camp, we're still getting ready for it," said Magdaleno on Wednesday afternoon from Legendz Boxing in Norwalk, California.

On this day he sparred with the likes of Oscar Negrete and Emilio Sanchez.

"They're tough guys who have the similar styles to Cesar Juarez and all of it is adapting to it. This is going to get me to where I need to be for the fight," said Magdaleno (25-0, 18 KO's), who won his belt last November against Nonito Donaire.

Facing Juarez means having to deal with his non-stop pressure.

"That's what I'm ready for, I'm ready for that kind of pressure because I have a great team behind me. I've got great sparring, as it gets closer to the fight we'll get more prepared and stronger,'' said Magdaleno.

This figures to be the toughest fight of Magdaleno's career.

"Physically, yes, skill-wise it all depends on how I come in that night," stated Magdaleno, who understands that the Mexican challenger wont stop coming. "I know I'll come in tremendous shape and I always come in ready and feeling strong for every opponent that I've got."

Juarez lost a close decision to Donaire in December of 2015 in a high-paced war of wills. But then Juarez was upset in his next fight, losing a split decision to unheralded Giovanni Delgado. He bounced back in his next fight, knocking undefeated rising contender Alberto Pagara last July - and then Juarez picked up two more victories.
