Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec - In his first fight since May 2011, former light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (27-2-1, 16KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Aleksy Kuziemski (23-5, 7KOs). The scores were 100-88, 98-90, 98-90.

Pascal started slow and badly injured his shoulder in the fourth round. He started fighting with only his right hand being the weapon. Kuziemski went down off a winging shot at the end of the sixth. From that point on, Pascal boxed, used defense and landed plenty of hard right hands. In the tenth and final round, Pacal once again scored a knockdown with hard right hands.

If Pascal's shoulder injury requires an extensive amount of rehab, then a planned rematch with WBC champion Chad Dawson, for March 23, could be pushed back to a later date.

Middleweight contender David Lemieux (28-2, 27KOs) came out guns blazing and dropped Albert Ayrapetyan (20-4, 9KOs) twice in the first round, and then a big knockout in the second to finish him off.

Light heavyweight prospect Eleider Alvarez (11-0, 7KOs) stopped Danny McIntosh (13-4, 7KOs) in the eight round of action. Alvarez dominated the action and then finally dropped McIntosh with a hard right hand. Later he followed up with a huge right that put the British boxer on his back. McIntosh suffers his third knockout loss in a row.

Logan McGuinness (19-0, 9KOs) retained the NABF super featherweight title with a tough ten round unanimous decision over Carlos Reyes (23-2-1, 15KOs). The scores were 95-93, 96-92 and 97-91.

After a slow start where McGuinness probably lost the last four rounds, he started a major rally in the fifth where he dropped Reyes in the fifth and dominated the sixth. He then dropped Reyes in the eight and then nealy finished him in the tenth.

Junior middleweight contender Kevin Bizier (19-0, 13KOs) won an easy eight round unanimous decision over Doel Carrasquillo (16-22-1, 14KOs). The scores were 80-68, 80-67 and 80-69.

Bizier dropped his opponent twice in the first round with hooks shots to the body and head. During the third, Bizier suffered a cut around his left eye from a clash of heads. Bizier scored another knockdown at the start of the fifth. Carrasquillo took a beating but managed to go the full distance.
