Vale Sports Arena, Cardiff, Wales - For the vacant EBU flyweight title, Jay Harris (16-0, 8 KOs) picked up the biggest win of his career with a twelve round unanimous decision over Angel Moreno (19-4-2, 6 KOs). The scores were 117-111, 119-109 and 120-108.

Moreno was coming off a twelve round decision loss to WBC world champion Charlie Edwards in March.

The first round was a war with Harris taking the fight right to Moreno, who quickly obliged to trade back. Both boxers were stunned during these big exchanges.

Harris was still putting together the better punches and combinations when trapping Moreno against the ropes. They continued to trade in the third, of what was quickly becoming a shootout.

By the sixth, Harris was in full control with accurate punches and was walking Moreno down. Moreno was landing one shot at a time and often getting countered.

Going into the tenth, Moreno was cut around the right eye. The contest continued to play out in the same fashion for the remainder of the fight, with Harris outworking Moreno and dominating the action.

For the WBO European lightweight title, Craig Evans (20-2-2, 3 KOs) retained his belt with a ten round unanimous decision in his rematch with Stephen Ormond (27-6, 13 KOs).

The scores were 98-92, 97-92 and 95-94.

Coming in, Evans had won two in a row and captured the vacant WBO strap when he won a ten round decision over Boy Jones in November of last year.

And Ormond had won his last three fights, after losing back to back bouts to Paul Hyland, and also to Evans in June of 2017. Ormond had a stay buys win back March over Oscar Amador.

The second time around, Evans was busier, more accurate with punches and outboxed Ormond in the majority of the fight.
