Junior lightweight Jason Sosa will fight Jerry Belmontes on August 15, Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman recently told Boxingscene.com.

The eight round bout will take place in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and will be broadcast on UniMas at 11 p.m. ET/ 8 p.m. PT.

Sosa (16-1-3, 12 KOs) is unbeaten in his last 15 fights since suffering his only loss of his career in October of 2010. In his last bout on June 13, Sosa stopped Santiago Bustos in the fifth round.

The Camden, N.J. resident has won his last 11 bouts by knockout.

Belmontes (19-7, 5 KOs) has lost six out of his last seven bouts. The lone win was against Will Tomlinson, who entered the bout unbeaten.

In his last bout on June 20, Belmontes lost a 10 round bout to Dierry Jean in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Unbeaten featherweight Christopher Diaz (11-0, 6 KOs) of nearby Barranquitas will fight in the co-feature bout. The bout will open the 'Solo Boxeo Tecate' telecast.
