Amateur national champion Jamar Pemberton is scheduled to make professional debut on May 21st on EntroBox Bally Sports card at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.

After a decorated amateur career that spanned nearly 200 fights, the St. Louis born southpaw signed a managerial pact with Victory Sports earlier this year and set his sights on the professional ranks.

“I’m excited to showcase my skills on this platform, and show people what I’m capable of. My management brought me out to Vegas where I’m living and training now, and the level of work is great I’m getting better and better every day. This is the beginning of my legacy,” remarked Pemberton when asked about making his professional debut.

Shortly after signing, the 19 year old southpaw moved to Las Vegas to work on his craft, and awaits the opportunity to make his debut. That opportunity comes on the second installment of the partnership between EntroBox and Bally Sports that will feature the sport of boxing prominently on the channel.

“Jamar is improving rapidly, we’re really happy with his progress and believe his ceiling is really high. We’re happy he gets to make his debut on this new platform, and anticipate an impressive performance,” added Victory Sports CEO Mike Leanardì.

Pemberton’s debut is part of a card headlined by a clash between multi-time world title challengers Christopher ‘Pitufo’ Diaz and Miguel Beltran. Also on the card, undefeated Connor Coyle will face Antonio Todd.
