Although Paul and Diaz landed almost the same amount of power punches, Paul’s punches were generally harder. Paul had an easier time setting up his power punches, connecting on 48% of them, while Diaz landed 39% of his power punches.

Diaz only threw 45 jabs (landing 8), while Paul threw 202 jabs (landing 34). Paul's use of the jab to gauge distance and set up his offense, and Diaz’s disregard of the jab illustrates the gulf in boxing acumen.

Dallas, Texas - In a cruiserweight fight, Jake Paul (7-1, 4 KOs) went the full ten round distance in winning a unanimous decision over MMA veteran Nate Diaz (0-1).

The scores were 97-92, 98-91 and 98-91.

Paul was coming off his first defeat as a professional boxer, with an eight round split decision loss to Tommy Fury back in February.
