It was recently revealed in an article by BoxingScene’s Manouk Akopyan that YouTube star Jake Paul (2-0 2 KOs) will return to the ring on April 17th in the main event of the latest Triller pay-per-view show. Triller is the streaming service that brought the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones exhibition match to the world via pay-per-view.

Paul faced former NBA star Nate Robinson in the chief supporting bout on the Tyson-Jones undercard. Paul’s trainer, BJ Flores, guaranteed a knockout prior to the fight and his fighter complied with a brutal knockout in the second round.

An opponent for Paul hasn’t been secured as of this writing but a MMA fighter crossing over to boxing has been mentioned as a possibility. Regardless of the opponent, Flores is already predict if another knockout.

“People aren’t gonna believe how fast Jake’s next opponent gets knocked out. Jake stole the show on the last card and we are thrilled to be working with Triller’s Ryan Kavanagh and his entire team again. Fighting as the co-main to boxing legends Mike Tyson and Roy Jones was an incredible experience but this is only the beginning,” Flores told BoxingScene.com.

“At Triller, they are 100% commited to bringing the very best entertainment possible. When we are talking about Triller, you have to understand that they have seen first hand what Jake Paul brings to the table.  Jake Paul is the business and business is good. We have been working our asses off over the last 15 months and I am 100% positive that every single person who tunes in to this event will leave very satisfied. Jake is 100% committed to this and so is Triller.”

Flores, who is a former world title challenger, couldn't reveal Paul’s next opponent but said that it would be a very credible name for a fighter that has only been in the sport for a little over a year.

“Jake will be facing a very well known professional with 10 years experience and excellent credentials. Do not blink. This will not go more than 3 rounds,” said Flores.

Paul began his career last January with a knockout victory over fellow YouTube star Ali Eson Gib.
