Youtube star turned boxer, Jake Paul (3-0, 3 KOs), has once again taken a swipe at UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

Paul has been chasing a boxing match with McGregor for the last year or so. The two have traded words on more than one occasion.

McGregor will return to the cage this Saturday night in Las Vegas, when he faces Dustin Poirier in a trilogy fight that headlines a UFC pay-per-view event.

McGregor was stopped by Poirier in two rounds earlier this year.

The unexpected outcome derailed a planned boxing match with eight division champion Manny Pacquiao.

Another loss would put McGregor's career on the ropes at the elite level of mixed martial arts.

After watching Thursday's final press conference for McGregor-Poirier, Paul felt the Irish superstar was putting on an act and displaying a certain level of insecurity.

"You can tell Conor has lost 'it'. He no longer speaks from a place of authenticity and you can tell he's trying to convince himself of his own lies. He takes offence to everything now," Paul stated.

"He's bathing in his own insecurity. When we fight I will further expose him for the fraud he is."

Paul is currently training for the fourth fight of his pro career. He will face his toughest opponent to date, former UFC champion Tyron Woodley, in the month of August.

Woodley is being prepared for the encounter by five division champion Floyd Mayweather.

Coincidently, it was Mayweather who stopped McGregor in the tenth round of his boxing debut back in August of 2017.

And last month, the 44-year-old Mayweather traded punches with Jake Paul's older brother, social media personality Logan Paul, in an eight round exhibition fight.
