GLENDALE, Arizona – Jake Paul and Anderson Silva made weight Friday morning amid minimal fanfare for their pay-per-view showdown Saturday night.

Paul stepped on the Arizona Boxing & MMA Commission’s scale at 186.5 pounds for their eight-round cruiserweight fight. Several minutes earlier, Silva officially weighed in at 186.1 pounds.

The contracted catch weight for their Showtime Pay-Per-View main event is 187 pounds, 13 pounds below the full cruiserweight limit.

The 25-year-old Paul (5-0, 4 KOs), of Westlake, Ohio, and the 47-year-old Silva (3-1, 2 KOs), a retired UFC legend, will participate in a ceremonial weigh-in late Friday afternoon at Desert Diamond Arena, the site of their fight. That event, which will be streamed on Showtime Sports’ YouTube channel, is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. PT and is open to the public.

Paul, who viciously knocked out former UFC welterweight champ Tyron Woodley in the sixth round of his last fight, is listed by most sportsbooks as slightly more than a 2-1 favorite over Silva. The left-handed Silva, who is commonly considered one of the best MMA fighters in the history of the sport, knocked out former UFC star Tito Ortiz in the first round and upset former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by split decision in his last two boxing matches.

The official weights for the nine bouts on the Paul-Silva undercard are listed below.
