Danny "The Golden Child" Jacobs, a 4-time NY Daily News Golden Gloves champion at 165-pounds, contacted BoxingScene.com to let us know he's physically and mentally ready to make a statement when he makes his middleweight debut on the undercard to one of most anticipated fights of the year, Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Ricky Hatton on Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Jacobs, with manager/advisor Al Haymon at his side, is currently in talks with several top promotional companies. The opponent for Jacobs has yet to be announced. More info to follow in the coming days.
