Caesars Palace is back with the big show in its’ outdoor Amphitheatre Saturday Apr.23 and nothing could be better than seeing big bombers like Antonio Margarito or Kermit Cintron live up to their bold predictions of a kayo victory.

Whether it’s Margarito retaining his WBO welterweight crown or Cintron surging to the throne, nothing could be more spectacular as ESPN Pay-Per-View launches its’ association with Main Events promoting.

I know you’ve heard this song before but here is a match-up carrying the kind of talent that creates Fight of the Year.

Margarito, out of Mexico City,MX., with a 31-4, 22 KOs resume, may have been in tougher outings where he had to reach deep to win. However, there is no question Cintron is boldly moving up in class since coming out of Carolina, P.R., to settle in Reading, Pa. The challenger’s free-wheeling punching has taken him to a 24-0 record with 22 stoppages.

Margarito respects the Puerto Rican import but he claims to have fought much tougher guys. Well, he’ll have a chance to prove it if he can handle the pressure that Cintron will apply from the opening bell. If there is an upset, it will be Cintron late.

The under card is attractive but the victories should look routine when the night is over. Shane Mosley. a triple-time world champion with a 39-4, 35 KOs log, drops back to 147 for his latest comeback when he goes against David Estrada, out of Miami, Fla., with a18-1,9 KOs slate and the sharp advice of legendary Angelo, who says “my guy will spoil the night for Shane.”

This is a 10-rounder that won’t go five.

People seem to love heavyweights and Calvin Brock and Jameel McCline seem to fit the bill. The 34-year-old McCline has won 10 of 11 starts since his last bout when he lost a controversial split decision to IBF heavy king and good friend, Chris Byrd. No rematch.

Brock has 20 KOs on a 24-0 ledger and posted his last stoppage Jan.21,2005, stopping Clifflord Etienne in three rounds.

This one should have good action from start to finish with McCline winning a squeaker.
